SLiNK x 11 Honore at NYFW

Midway through what felt like an endless fashion week came an oasis of couture, cocktails and revelry, brought to you by none other than our very own team at SLiNK. In our second pop-up partnership with luxury e-retailer 11Honoré we upped our game to be worthy of the immersive fashion experience that was curated just steps away from the NYFW runways at Spring Studios. As a homage to our London roots, we served up a Sunday soiree inspired by classic British high tea. Influencers, clients and lots of Wilhelmina’s curve models perused the racks of designer fashion whilst sipping the signature cocktail, SLiNK 75. It was our twist on the classic French 75, based on O.R.E. 118 gin, a crisp spirit that is the first to be certified as raw vegan in the US. Topped with cava and pink lemonade it was as pleasing to look at as it was to drink.
Guests like mega models Wilhelmina’s La’Tecia Thomas and Sydney Ness walked the runway in 11Honoré’s groundbreaking opening show.

Their looks along with all the others were displayed on the first floor to create a “runway” you could be part of. At the end of a catwalk of mannequins sotted a tall, LED-framed touch screen mirror photobooth by Ovation events which took your picture and immortalized you as the first “model” in the show.

We brought the elegance of a British garden with the bar made of an illuminated hedgerow and a spread of traditional afternoon tea sandwiches, pastries and Fortnum & Mason Royal Wedding blend teas. It was all expertly crafted and served by MFEvents. Guests were nibbling on these treats as other treated us to an endless fashion show out of the fitting rooms. I must say that the gold Dima Ayad gown was a hit on most who tried it on and a solid choice for those who are size 24+
Many of the runway looks were available for purchase and some are on pre-order. Of all of the couture to try on, my favorite was a simple garment on the rack that transformed everyone who tried it on, including myself. The black crepe Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit, skimmed curves purfectly and wowed with elements like pockets and 2 diamanté pineapple embellishments. Such a chic alternative to the standard black-tie gown attire or cocktail dress.
The afternoon marched on as guests head up to the purchase their choices thanks to the point of sale powered by Shopify.
You can feel like you were part of the “in crowd” by buying some looks on 11Honore.com and perusing our event coverage by famed NYC social photographer Patrick McMullan here: Slink Magazine x 11Honore NYFW Event Gallery
