With us hurtling at great speed towards Valentine’s day, lingerie is very much the natural fashion topic of conversation. But you shouldn’t need to use Valentine’s day as an excuse to improve, add to or update your plus size lingerie drawer. Great underwear isn’t just something you should wear for your partner, perfect pants and beautiful bras should be about you and making you feel like you’re on top of the world.

But of course, given that February the 14th is round the corner, marketeers and brands have also upped their game, so if you’re looking to treat yourself to some plus size lingerie, now is a great time to shop around and invest.

From beautiful simple sets that you can wear everyday, to something with a little more fire, plus size lingerie has drastically improved in recent years and it’s great to see how increased plus size visibility on social media and mainstream media and body acceptance has meant that plus size lingerie has never looked so smoking hot.

We’ve rounded up some of our favourite plus size lingerie brands and pieces to strut in right now.

Gabi comes back with complete freshness (no pun intended). We’re obsessed with the retro, fashion forward feel of this set. The sheer detailing, the pretty polka dots and the delectable stylings of Playful Promises boudoir feel, this set is the top of our shopping list.

Lingerie bodies have really become quite a huge trend over the last few seasons and while it can be a difficult trend to buy into in plus – as they often come in cup sizes that don’t always match up with dress size, we found loads of bodies on ASOS Curve that come in clothing sizes to help you get that supremely sexy fit.
