Looking to freshen up your wardrobe for fall? The stylists at Dia & Co will always have just what you need and right in your mailbox. Once you fill out your sizes, budget and style, each box will come to you with brand new picks for you to try. The new collaboration with plus size fashion blogger, Girl With Curves – Tanesha Awasthi, just dropped and we must say that we love it!
We already gave you a sneak peak into the designer lines that plus size box order company Dia & Co brought to the Curvy Con runway during NYFW, but getting a chance to test drive some of the pieces was great. The Girl with Curves collection is perfect for those looking for versatile, work-appropriate pieces. It’s obvious that a lot of time was spent of fit because these separates slipped on with ease without the usual pitfalls like tight arms or ill-fitting chests. This is particularly incredible when you consider tricky-to-fit garments like button down blouses.
I really loved the white peplum blouse because it fit like a glove and gave a curvy silhouette to a wardrobe staple that is usually known for being boring. Same goes for the collarless black blazer that perfectly nips in the waist and in a quality crepe-like fabric with only a little bit of stretch. The quality of fabric was also very refreshing. Though the pocketed shirt dress was a bit too long for my 5 ft-1in frame, the flowy, thick chiffon feel was a real treat in a world with just too much spandex. The paisley/floral print top and dress is made of a similar fabric and great if you dig a 1970’s boho vibe.
In the coming months, there will be a few more capsule collections coming to Dia customer doorsteps and we can’t wait to see what’s next from them, Girl with Curves and the many other brands collaborating to move fashion forward.
