Halloween is going to be a little different this year for most of us, but that doesn’t mean you have to dump the festivities totally. You can still get dressed up or inject a little Halloween festive frivolity into your outfit to mark the occasion.
With that in mind, we’ve found some great Halloween inspired outfits and accessories, some plus size specific and some just awesome that you can use to conjure up your inner Halloween spirit.

So here are the seven spooky and sparkly pieces that we would suggest for a great plus size Halloween costume.
This look is quite a statement. We love a bit of bling, so these face jewels in a skull formation are perfect for those who want to skip the fake blood and keep more of a party look. There are loads of great online tutorials for skull make up and a soft smokey eyed version of that would look fantastic with these face jewels. You can then use a mix of monochrome and silver tones in the rest of your outfit and let the face jewellery do the talking.
It’s a classic now but the skeleton print t-shirt dress is back. This is an obvious choice but a great one. It’s low key which certainly fits with the tone of this years celebrations and can also be worn during the day of Halloween for a fun, getting into the spirit but altogether easy and practical outfit. Team with black tights and boots.
If you want to give a nod to Halloween but not go overboard then try these cobweb style tights for size. Worn with an all black look and maybe a bit of a spiderweb face paint design over one eye you’ve got a full on costume with absolute minimum effort and expenditure. These web style tights are a fun dress up piece all year really!
Harry Potter fan? Then this Hogwarts school uniform dress up look could be your Halloween perfect look. Of course the cute tartan mini skirt can also be work outside of Halloween with a black roll neck and boots for a great all season through look.
Staying in? Just because you’re planning on enjoying Halloween from the couch, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the season too! Try this pair of pumpkin pj’s for a super snuggly look that still recognises the holiday too.
