Halloween is going to be a little different this year for most of us, but that doesn’t mean you have to dump the festivities totally. You can still get dressed up or inject a little Halloween festive frivolity into your outfit to mark the occasion.

This look is quite a statement. We love a bit of bling, so these face jewels in a skull formation are perfect for those who want to skip the fake blood and keep more of a party look. There are loads of great online tutorials for skull make up and a soft smokey eyed version of that would look fantastic with these face jewels. You can then use a mix of monochrome and silver tones in the rest of your outfit and let the face jewellery do the talking.

It’s a classic now but the skeleton print t-shirt dress is back. This is an obvious choice but a great one. It’s low key which certainly fits with the tone of this years celebrations and can also be worn during the day of Halloween for a fun, getting into the spirit but altogether easy and practical outfit. Team with black tights and boots.

If you want to give a nod to Halloween but not go overboard then try these cobweb style tights for size. Worn with an all black look and maybe a bit of a spiderweb face paint design over one eye you’ve got a full on costume with absolute minimum effort and expenditure.
