We said it for years before it happened, so when River Island launched RI Plus last year, their plus size high street fashion line, there was no one cheering louder than SLiNK magazine and the line has been such a mega success (thanks to all you lot shopping it) that the plus size offering has extended rapidly to more styles – that look exactly the same as the main range – and to new product ranges such as plus size swimwear, wide fit shoes and plus size lingerie. The thing we love most is that River Island’s, RI plus line constantly has us saying – Oh my, I can’t believe it is plus size. We have actually had a massive influx of wide fit over the knee boots – praise the powers in shoes – but we do think these ones are incredibly sexy too! There is always something super sexy about mesh. The see through abilities make it cute and sassy and gives off that street wear / sports luxe vibe and we really like the plus size crop type silhouette of this cut. Kate Moss say ‘nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’ (seriously have you ever heard of such rubbish) but you can, if you like, steal her style with River Island’s, RI Plus collections of band style t-shirts. We love the sequin trim on this one too, the perfect way to rock a pair of jeans and still keep some high fashion glamour.
