It’s January 2021, congratulations, we made it! After the longest year on record we’ve stepped into a new year and if you’re still working from home, or socialising from a distance, we feel you. While your work look may have previously meant great plus size tailored dresses or a banging plus size blazer, these days it’s all a little more relaxed and with loungewear quickly becoming our go to uniform, we thought you might be in need of a little 2021 update. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite plus size jumpers to invest in right now. The knits that will keep you cosy, that will help you back away that holiday season twinkle and snuggly head into the new year with comfort and style.
So what’s hot right now in knitwear? There are loads of plus size jumpers and cardigans to choose from this season. High up on the list should definitely be a plus size jumper dress. This is such a comfortable item, but definitely is a little smarter than hanging out in loungewear all day, making it perfect for the work-from-home set. You can easily pair a sweater dress with tights and boots for a great outdoorsy look too.
When it comes to prints, animal prints are still huge and have really taken on a new identity with this season’s knitwear. While of course you can look for classic biscuit and black hues, also be on the look for khaki and red based animal prints that have become increasingly popular in recent months.
Block colour is another easy to wear, key jumper look for the season. Whether that means one, all over shade or an abstract print, go bright and bold into 2021.
Jewelled jumpers and embellished knits are likely to have ended up in the sale now that Christmas and New Year is over, but we think that you can sparkle whatever the date on the calendar is and is there any better way of cheering up your wardrobe than with a sequin in January, we think not.
So go on, treat yourself to the 2021 wardrobe update that you didn’t know you needed… Happy Shopping.

How gorgeous is this longline cardigan in luxe leopard print. Amazing over loungewear for nights in on the sofa but super chic paired with jeans or over a smarter pair of trousers too.
We are forever preaching about cashmere and more importantly the lack of plus size cashmere and natural fabrics in general, so we are super excited to find these plus size cashmere-blend roll necks. They come in several colours and are great for those that fill the chill.
Say ‘Yes’ to the (sweater) dress. We love everything Universal Standard do and if you’ve not got to know them yet, get to know them. They have all the everyday wardrobe staples you’ve always wanted, the fabrics are beautiful, the shapes timeless and the brand inclusive. We love them.

Who doesn’t love a cheery slogan knit. This cute trend is certainly sticking around.
The Christmas decorations might be packed away but you can still shine like the gift you are in 2021, everyday needs just a little bit of sparkle.
