If your dad is anything like mine then he has suffered a life time of socks, ties and pyjama’s. Unfortunately as my dad retired, ties were no longer a sensible or thoughtful gift… ‘But you love ties dad’ and while socks and pyjamas are still very much appreciated, I am under no illusion that I could do better. I once got him an engraved pen – but this – while it seems thoughtful neglects the fact that I know he probably would have appreciated a multi pack of bic biros more.
So if you’re struggling to buy your Father something this Father’s Day (its s the 14th of June btw) then hopefully our SLiNK gift guide will give you some ideas…
Noble Isle This gorgeous Whisky and Water hand wash from Noble Isle is made from British ingredients and its golden hue is stunningly striking.
Aqua di Parma Aftershave The NEW aftershave from Aqua di Parma has launched. Make sure Dad smells good to go with all those snazzy ties he has stored up over the years.
Aspinal of London – Head to Fenwick in Kingston on the 10th of June and get Dad a piece of Aspinal of London that can be then personalised in store. Turning a gorgeous gift into the best gift.
Happy Socks – Because all Dad’s really do love socks – right?
Marks & Spencer – There is in all fairness a fine line between just enjoying giving gifts and then giving something quirky for your own amusement, the line here is definitely blurred. Just like this extendable back scratcher
Selfridges – Got a Dad that likes a tipple? Then it is the Bruichladdich taster kit that you want to get your hands on, but hurry, they’re whizzing out fast. BRUICHLADDICH Wee laddie tasting collection 600ml
Harvey Nichols – Smart Dad? Then these gorgeous TATEOSSIAN Rotondo Gear rose gold-plated cufflinks should do the trick. We love the intricate details and rose gold is the colour of the moment.
Burton – I couldn’t help myself, yes it is a tie – but it comes with a pocket square in this gorgeously paisley print. For Dad’s that are pretty dapper.
ASOS – For Dad’s who prefer a beautifully brewed coffee to a slow sip on a whisky. The best coffee we have ever had was from a percolator and while it is a faff the taste is worth it. Get one for your Dad and then get him to demonstrate how it works… every time you go round.
Topman – Mr Natty Emergency Flair Kit for Beards is so cute and perfect for Dad’s with plenty of hair on their faces! In a quirky flair package this taps into the trends for beard oils and moisturising creams.
