It seems that there is ALWAYS a fashion week happenings somewhere in the world. While we know the four main ones, London, Paris, New York and Milan, pretty much every country worth their culottes is having a runway revelation right now and it seems the plus size fashion bug is spreading too.
From the early adopters, Full Figured Fashion Week in New York to Plus Size Days in Germany and plus size clothing events springing up in Australia and of course Pulp in Paris, not forgetting Plus Size Fashion Week in London and The Curve Fashion Festival. Plus size fashion is finally making its mark on catwalk proceedings. This year, the Curvy Con in New York will be bigger and better and it is joined across the border by a new plus size event in Montreal, Canada.
Montreal Plus Size Fashion Week will take place at the end of May (20th, 21st, 22nd May) and with around 10 brands taking part, this indie showcase of plus size fashion is testament to quickly and how much the industry is growing.
But this isn’t just about fashion. While the first day will host a plus size fashion show, with models gathered from the events casting tour, the subsequent days are a mixture of shopping and talks from a host of plus size fashion bloggers, yoga masters, how to back pack as a plus size women – basically lots of interesting lifestyle content too!
So if you’re in that part of the world or simply looking for a new plus size adventure, there is still time to grab a ticket here.
Stay tuned for a round up post event!
